The Coachella Valley Housing Coalition (CVHC) is dedicated to helping low and very low-income families improve their living conditions through advocacy, research, construction, and operation of housing and community development projects. CVHC has constructed nearly 4,000 homes and apartments for low-income households in Riverside County and Imperial County. In addition, CVHC has developed a variety of resident services for its tenants and the surrounding community. > MORE

We are asking for your support to maintain the City of Coachella’s eligibility under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) housing programs. Coachella and another 101 communities across the State of California are on the verge of losing their eligibility for funding under critical USDA Rural Development programs. These programs provide affordable housing opportunities, community facilities, and water and waste-water systems in rural areas across the state and nation. And it’s one of eastern Coachella Valley’s only sources of federal housing funding.
